The hot lunch program has been so popular that several parents have anonymously purchased hot lunches for students and faculty who might not otherwise enjoy the break from brown bag lunches from home.

Lunch

All students eat lunch at school and are grouped with children in nearby grades (i.e. children in Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades eat together, then 3rd and 4th grades, etc).  Pre-K children eat lunch in their classroom.  Lunch is either preceded by or followed by recess.

Students either bring their lunch (and purchase milk at school) or participate in the hot lunch program, which is available four days per week.  The PTO sponsors monthly Hot Dog and Pizza days, and parent volunteers supervise the lunchroom. There are no vending machines, soft drinks, or junk food.
