“For working parents, the extended-day program is a critical element to choosing a school. At Saint Agnes, there is opportunity for homework, relaxation, play, and participation in the enrichment activities held after school.”
– Caroline Galdabini, mother of two Saint Agnes students
Extended Day
Saint Agnes offers an Extended Day Program before and after normal school hours. Extended Day hours are 7-8 a.m. and 3-6 p.m. The Extended Day Program is a licensed childcare program and is available for all registered Saint Agnes students (note: Pre-K students are NOT eligible for Extended Day morning hours).
The afternoon Extended Day Program includes snack, outdoor play, indoor activities, and study hall for students to complete their homework. The Director and staff supervise all aspects of the program with safety being the top priority.
Students in Kindergarten and Pre-K participate in a special program geared specifically for these young children. This program is housed in a separate part of the school.
All families are required to register for Extended Day services in case an emergency should arise. The program allows for student to attend on a daily basis as well as on a drop-in basis. All children attending Extended Day must be signed in and out by an authorized adult.
